Drove from Gunnison to Montrose (60 miles) Sat Aug. 3nd. Staying at Compahgre RV park in Olathe, Co (9 miles N of Montrose) for a week. Total $257.50 or $36.78 per day. Nice park. Concrete pad, WiFi is down until Monday, cable ok. No NBC or ABC, but does have Fox News. WiFi is useless. We are using Jan's hot spot this week.

Drove to Black Canyon National Park (just outside of Montrose :)
Gunnison River in bottom of canyon
Lava flow pushed up this light colored liquid rock 65 million years ago
THe canyon is 2000 feet deep and 14 miles long.
Driving to Bayfield Riverside RV park Saturday for 5 nights.
