Drive into Durango over two passes: from Montrose
In Bayfield, CO at Riverside RV park 14 miles east of Durango, CO. Total $261.67 ($52.33 per night, for 5 nights).
Gravel spaces and road. WiFi is ok for email only. Large trees and fishing stream in park. Cable ok, half channels are fuzzy.
Coach started loosing power, then back on. Had park check power on pole(ok).
Turns out to be my surge protector plugged into pole. It went bad. Removed it. Power good again..
Sunday: 2 power hits
Monday: 2 power hits before 8:30 am. Surge protector may be good. Extension 50 amp cable removed, also. I am thinking it is the parks power , leg 1 spiking to 133V or higher. My EMS is shutting down power in protective mode.
Monday: power dropped 4 times. L2 @ 134V. Called office, Marcus called back. Moved my power plug to space 51 south of me at 20:30.
Hopefully this will fix our problem (L2 = 124V)
Wednesday @1800: EMS shutdown shore power first time in 36 hours. Multiple hits with L2 hitting 133 V. I changed pole connection to 30 amp, then had more hits with volts @ 133V. Went back to 50 amp plug.
Pulled power plug over to space 51.
Tuesday: durango to Silverton Train ride $197 for two.
Downtown Silverton
We saw lots of wildlife returning on train: two deer, two bear, one female moose with baby.
Wed: no more power issues. Moving pole connection to #51 fixed problem. No it did not, more power hits this evening.
Aug. 15th: leaving Bayfield, driving to Verde Valley TT. Reservation at TT Aug 15-Sept. 9th.
