In Gunnison at Tall Texan RV park Tuesday, July 30 , 4 nights

In Gunnison, CO at Tall Texan RV park from South Fork Tuesday July 30 for 4 nights.  Leaving Saturday for Montrose.  Total $238.22 or $59.55 per night.  Dirt roads & space.  Good WiFi & cable, trees, concrete pad, table, &fire pit.


Took hwy 114 over this pass to Gunnison:

Stopped at summit to let yellow temp light stop.  Engine worked hard getting up pass at 35 mph in 3nd gear.

Wednesday:   Steve & Joni picked us up and drove up to Crested Butte, ate lunch, then drove up to Irwin Lake.  Falls below lake were pretty







Thursday:
  Day trip up to Taylor park , Tincup, and Mirror Lake:
  Bottom of dam.

The jeep trail past the lake was under water, toward St Elmo

Friday:
  Going fishing with Steve.  Bought on day fishing license ($16.75)
  Steve picked me up at 6:30 am.  We went to a fishing pond just below the fish hatchery.  The fish were not biting.
