From Kerrville to Harlingen Nov 30, 2022 til May 1st, 2023

 Drove from Kerrville to Harlingen .  North gusty wind 15-20.  42 gal diesel $182.47. No issues.  Tom had yellow check engine light come on several times.

Home for the winter.

Nationwide (Avid) is going to replace windshield sometime late January 2023.

Windshield Xpress in Pharr to install new windshield Tues, Mar. 14.  Arrived at 8:30.  Started WO at 8:45. Glass on seal at 9:30.  Drove home and parked RV in storage.  Found windshield cracked Mar. 17th (stress crack) both inside/outside glass.

Waiting for answer from Nationwide warranty dept.

Nationwide would NOT honor warranty and replace windshield.  I refused to pay remaining balance owed.  I never received supplemental Invoice for State Farm.

Move 2019 tires to back (30K tread left).

Tom helped me get spare Michelin tire on Jeep rack.

Leaving May 1st for Buckhorn in Kerrville.   Headed toward Junction, UT.

From Harlingen to Kerrville, Buckhorn RV resort for 2 weeks, Nov 16-30 2022

 Driving to Kerrville Wed, Nov 16 for a 2 week stay at Buckhorn RV park Back Nov 30. 320 miles.  Stopped at Comfort Loves for gas (42.5 gal / $206.45, $4.85/gal at pump. Saved $11.90 with EFS card

In  site 6113.  Cable connection is good.  35 channels.  2 weeks cost $700.00($50/day)

.cold last night, 36°  high Friday 50°.  High Saturday 39°.

Found radiator bottom hose leak.  Tightened clamp.  Added  half inch coolant in over flow tank.

Sunday Nov 27: first sunny day in 11 days.  Tom & I went and played 9 holes of golf.

I got better after 7 holes, but still bad.

Many days of rain dropped 2 inches of rain in my drivers side floorboard, I think thru the cowling just in front of windshield.

Parks cable has been bad for two nights.  Low end channels get no signal. Down to 23 channels.  S/B 36 channels

Low sunday night 37°.  Mid 70's Monday.

Took front cowling off jeep.  No obvious problem that would indicate a problem.  Put more weather stripping around drivers door.  Floor board almost dry.

From Waco(I35 RV park) to Harlingen(home) Nov 1st

 Last leg of trip home (420 miles)

Arrived 5:30. Lots of rain.  MH was OK.

One way trip diesel total = $ 1273, 1800 miles

From Okc to Waco, I35 RV park, 1 night Monday Oct 31st

 From OKC to Waco I35 RV park Monday Oct 31 1 night $55.36.  Checked in at 3:30. Assigned space #59 (gravel lot) space 52-58 next door-whole row are slab.  Ask for slab next time.

285 miles.  Filled up at Loves in Ardmore (pump price $5.18) should have drove into Texas (cheaper)  one night $55.65

From Amarillo to Oklahoma City, Rockwell RV park, 3 nights(Oct 28-30)

 Drove from Amarillo to Okla city Friday to Rockwell RV park. 285 miles. 3 nights Fri-Sun, $144 total, $48/night.

Space 162 parked the wrong direction. Utilities moved to opposite side.  Plugged into elec only.  Antenna stations good.  Got Grit.  Mostly asphalt space. Some road noise.

Visit with Joe & Betty sat.  Go over to Jamie's Sun.  Dan is going to rewire my dash 12v plug.

From Albuquerque to Amarillo, Oasis RV, Oct 21 for 1 week

 Drive from Albuquerque  to Amarillo, 285 miles East on I40.  Arrived at 4:00. Filled up at Loves on way in ($5.19/gal, 37.89 gal, $197.02 total.  Tail wind (20 knots) all the way.  In space #74 on Amarillo street.

Oasis weekly rate = $383.67

Cable connection to RV will not pickup all published channels.  I switched to Dish.  Cable connection worked in Albuquerque??

Front came thru Monday.  Rained all day, 1.38 inches.  Low tuesday morning was 34.

Visit with Richard & Louise Monday evening.

Supper with Gary & Amy Tuesday night at Big Texan.  Calf Fries, Ribs, Chicken Fried.

260 miles to Okla City, then 724 to Harlingen.

From Flagstaff to Albuquerque, American RV, 1 night(Oct 20)

 Drove from Flagstaff to Albuquerque,  320 miles.  To American RV for 1 night ($60.35) in long pull thru, space 225.  Filled up at Loves.  50 gal.  , $5,28/gal before discount.
