In Borger Mesquite RV July 6-11

 Reservation in Mesquite RV in Borger July 6-11.  Phillips reunion July 9-10.

Arrived 3:00 pm.  320 miles.  GPS sent us wrong address.  Right off florida & 3nd street .  500 gravel pit road.  Gravel space.  Full hookups.   New park (2 months old)  $25/night.

No cable.  No picnic table at site, but in common area.  Wifi ok, usable.  Grit on antenna. 

I had to move the dish antenna to the back roof to work.

Loose small gravel.  I sunk the back jacks.  Had to use some 2" x 10" boards for support.

Bobby(owner) helped me with jacks.

In Bridgeport, TX @ TT June 15 - July 6th, 21 days

 Stay in Bridgeport @ Thousand Trails for 21 days, June 15 - July 6th.

Drove from Okahoma City to Bridgeport (206 miles). Arrive @ 11:30 am.  3 - 50 amp sites available.  Chose #196.  Coach fairly level.  Back end is a little low.  I am not using my jacks, until I confirm the system will work with only one solenoid.   The NAPA solenoid

I installed as the master does not work.  I bypassed it and wired the battery directly to the

Alternate solenoid.  It does respond, but I do not want to damage the system further. (Moved jacks up) Asked facebook tech group.  They said solenoids were not redundant.  One for moving jacks up, one for moving jacks down.  I bought a heavy duty solenoid from Bridgeport Electronics supply ($20).  It works!!  Jacks are down & coach is level.

No visible TT changes. But TT is adding new 50 amp sites.  Don't know how many

A scan over the air for TV channels, resulted in zero.  It's Dish or nothing.  I put the dish antenna on the roof.  Had to move it from the front to back, then got good signal.

Local channels received, also.  

Thursday: supper at Yesterdays.  I had liver & onions w/ brown gravy, black eyed pees, & okra.  Jan had chicken fried steak, black eyed pees, & mashed potatoes.

We see deer almost everyday.

Friday July 2nd: honey wagon came by and dumped my tanks.  Black was full.

Park filled up for holiday weekend.  We leave next Tueday for Borger.

 Arrive from Amarillo to Oklahoma City, Rockwall RV June 12-13.  Maybe stay 3nd night.($129)

Visit with Jaime & Dan.

Bought a new solenoid at NAPA ($29).  Will replace HWH solenoid today.

Did not work.  I think the car solenoid is too weak.

In Amarillo @ Oasis RV June 8-11 (4 nights)

 In Amarillo Oasis RV for 4 nights.  We could not stay thru weekend.  All booked.

With Tom & Bev Blair. $215.59 /4 nights $53.89/ night,  space #93. 

Visit with Gary & Amy, Joe & Betty on Friday.  Take Tom & Bev to Big Texan and Palo Duro Canyon.

We used 15 GB on verizon a few days ago.  Definitely slowed down.  Oasis WiFi is worthless.  Oasis WiFi is better today, email only.

I went to Best Buy and bought a Verizon jetpack($216), then went to Verizon store and activated a 6 Gig monthly prepaid plan ($40) starting today, June 10, 2021.

Thursday June 10th: day trip to Palo Duro Canyon, then to Big Texan for supper.

While loading up to leave,  passenger front jack would NOT come up.  Tried release switch,  no reaction.  Control buttons not working either.  After 15 minutes, it come up half way.  Took another 15 minutes to get it all the way up.

To Santa Rosa , NM June 7th 1 night

 Leaving Chama, NM, headed toward Amarillo.  Stopping one night in Santa Rosa, NM.

Santa Rosa RV park.($38.19).  Dirt road & site.  In space 75.  Cable signal was screwed up.  Tech had to fix.  Still no CBS, but 30 other channels.  Ate at BBQ restaurant on site.

$35 for Jan & I.  240 miles today from Chama.  On to Amarillo tomorrow (Oasis RV).
