In Gunnison at Tall Texan RV park Tuesday, July 30 , 4 nights

In Gunnison, CO at Tall Texan RV park from South Fork Tuesday July 30 for 4 nights.  Leaving Saturday for Montrose.  Total $238.22 or $59.55 per night.  Dirt roads & space.  Good WiFi & cable, trees, concrete pad, table, &fire pit.

Took hwy 114 over this pass to Gunnison:

Stopped at summit to let yellow temp light stop.  Engine worked hard getting up pass at 35 mph in 3nd gear.

Wednesday:   Steve & Joni picked us up and drove up to Crested Butte, ate lunch, then drove up to Irwin Lake.  Falls below lake were pretty

Thursday:
  Day trip up to Taylor park , Tincup, and Mirror Lake:
  Bottom of dam.

Friday:
  Going fishing with Steve.  Bought on day fishing license ($16.75)
  Steve picked me up at 6:30 am.  We went to a fishing pond just below the fish hatchery.  The fish were not biting.

In South Fork, CO at Riverbend RV for 14 nights July 16-30

Drove from Buena Vista tuesday July 16.  2.5 hr drive.  No issues.  Checked in space 41, backend.  WiFi ok, cable, table, gravel site with trees. 2 week charge $569.22,  ($40.65 per night total, )nightly rate is $40 before tax.

Sunday July 27th:
   Front half of coach power went OFF at 5:30 am.  Bedroom A/C heat pump still working.   Tiffin Tech Forum said one leg of transfer switch was bad.   Burnt wire on shore power transfer switch.  One (black wire) leg is not getting volts going into coach from switch.

Office referred Denise Kirkpatrick 719_289_0995.  She arrived at 2:00 pm.   Bypassed bad switch in 30 minutes.
Result:  shore power is directly wired into coach ( no generator). I will get new switch in Harlingen.

Cost $150.  I wrote Denise a check.  Yea we are back in business.
