From Flagstaff to Junction, May 9th, 2023 til Oct. 15th

 Drove from Flagstaff (J&H RV park) to Junction, UT, May 9th.  300 miles. Fuel at Flying J in Page, then topped off tank in Panguitch (Discover card). Arrived at Junction RV park around 2:00 pm. Here in Junction until Oct 15th.

Total diesel for trip = $983.70 one way 1649 miles, 358.45 gallons, 4.6 mpg, odo in Junction= 91,095

  Park is half empty with no more reservations this weekend. Spaces 1,2,3,3.5,5,6 & 9

Are leaving sunday.  Beautiful weather.  Highs in mid 70's, lows in 40's.  

Neal/Vickie Bake in #7 for 3 months, Alan in #8 for the season.

3nd week of July.  Temps reached 98°.  Then 5 days @ 95°.  Then back to the low 90's.  

Mike/Lonnie (parked in storage area) got new fridg guts installed on July 24th.  Waiting on one more part(high temp sensor).

Allen(Randy's friend) arrived last night(in #9), July 24th.

Park is going to fill up starting Thursday for Butch Cassidy days (july 31-Aug. 5)

Park closes Oct 13.  Eclipse on 14th, leaving on Oct 17 to Winslow, AZ

From Albuquerque to Flagstaff, J&H RV park, 2 nights, May 7-8

 Drove west on I40, 315 miles to Flagstaff.  Left at 7:15, arrived by 2:00 pm. 2 night stay in J&H RV park, $70/night.  Gravel site #17 pull thru, cable, table.  I did not get all cable channels listed.  I think my MH cable is poor.

Park WiFi is strong enough to enter blog.

I40 winds picked up after noon from west, then south.  Last 50 miles with crosswind.

Filled up at Flying J in Jamestown. $137.78, 31.5 gal, $4.36 per gal at pump.

Passed TA at mark 283 east side.  Flying J at 255. Maverick at Winslow.

From Lubbock to Albuquerque, American RV, 2 nights, May 5-6

 Drove from Lubbock to Albuquerque (312 miles) to American RV park. Space 203 pull thru, nightly price=$60.35.  Arrived at 2:00 pm. Gassed up at Stripes on NM border. Discount price= $3.46.

Filled up in Albuquerque  at Loves. Discount price= $4.36

From Kerrville to Lubbock, Loop 289 RV park, May 3-4, 2 nights

 Drove from Kerrville  to Lubbock, 348 miles,  highway 83 then 87 thru Big Springs.  Diesel  at TA in Big Springs. 50 gal, $217 at pump, discount price $3.40

Pull thru #14 slab pad.  No WiFi or cable.  $30/night total=$60. Antenna channels good with Grit.

Ate at Braum's Wed night.  Thunderstorm Wed night, pee size hail.

From Harlingen to Kerrville, May 1, 2023,Buckhorn RV, 2 nights

 Drove from Harlingen to Kerrville(323 mi) on our 1st leg to Junction, UT.  Strong SE wind.  

Stopped in Loves at Three Rivers for fuel and lunch. 31.45 gal,$4.38, total $138.03

In Buckhorn pull thru #6067, $49/night, 2 nights. WiFi is too slow to use.  Cable low end channels loose reception.   Changing cable to pedestal  did not help.

From Kerrville to Harlingen Nov 30, 2022 til May 1st, 2023

 Drove from Kerrville to Harlingen .  North gusty wind 15-20.  42 gal diesel $182.47. No issues.  Tom had yellow check engine light come on several times.

Home for the winter.

Nationwide (Avid) is going to replace windshield sometime late January 2023.

Windshield Xpress in Pharr to install new windshield Tues, Mar. 14.  Arrived at 8:30.  Started WO at 8:45. Glass on seal at 9:30.  Drove home and parked RV in storage.  Found windshield cracked Mar. 17th (stress crack) both inside/outside glass.

Waiting for answer from Nationwide warranty dept.

Nationwide would NOT honor warranty and replace windshield.  I refused to pay remaining balance owed.  I never received supplemental Invoice for State Farm.
