In Gainsville Funtown RV Winstar, 2 nights

Drove from Waco to Gainsville Winstar 150 miles .  Staying two nights.  July 8-9.Nice park.  Concrete pads.  Space was Not level.  Back passenger tires off ground.  Bolt holding on jack plate broke off, but springs keep plate in place.
Backin was $40 per night.

 Shower house across from site 163



Local tv antenna, no cable.


Thursday:
  Went to Winstar this afternoon with Carl & Judy Johnston.  Ate at the buffet















Driving to Oklahoma City (Rockwell RV Park) Friday for 3 nights.

In Waco, TX at I35 RV Park for 1 night(July 7th)

New solar panels on roof

Drove from Harlingen to Waco today.  Left at 8:30.  Arrived in I35 RV park just north of Waco at 5:45 pm.  No problems.  Lots of construction zones.  Ran into light rain shower north of Austin on toll road (130- toll cost $58).  Dropped jacks,  opened slides, plugged in 50 amp.  .
No cable, but lots of channels on antenna.  Gravel pull thru.  Fairly level.  Free breakfast In morning.  Cost $44 after Goodsam discount.  Stopped at a Pilot for gas.  Walked next door to Sonic for lunch.
.  Total miles driven = 441 miles.


 New jeep tow cover works!!
 Park is half empty.

In Tropic Winds Resort, Harlingen, TX 2020 winter

Signed Park Model purchase Agreement Feb. 5, 2020 ($20,000 down) closed on Mobile  home  Feb 6, 2020 lot 145.  Buying furniture and appliances.  Moving from #504 to #145.

Fixed A/C evaporation hose, so water would not soak under home.






Finished garage construction.  Moving in slowly.

Martin did the construction, frame and siding in two days.
Concrete step weighed 1000 pounds.



8 X 7 foot garage door.  ABC Garage door company installed door and opener.

Gil's electrical and Andy's plumbing finished in early march.

Corona Virus has Harlingen in "stay at home" mode for 2 weeks.
John (neighbor) gave me cabinets, including double sink.  Two exhaust fans  , ceiling fan, installed lots of shelves, water softner, back door, and new garage door.

Adding solar panels on MH roof.  Charging MH batteries in TT.

Garage is finished.  








Corona virus  has got the country shutdown until April 30th.
We are gradually moving into #145.



Sat April   11,2020, 95% moved.  Sleeping at #145 first the first time.
TV's, thermostat wifi connected.

May 11, 2020:  replaced 5th house interstate battery in MH.  Tom bought new battery at Cosco's for me ($115).  Other batteries are 4 years old. 
 Hopefully the solar
 (Negative post broke off.)
 panels will keep batteries fully charged and extend life a few more years.  
Solar charging is working good.

June 2020: we are going to shop for a Yorkie (2).

Waiting for Bev Blair to be released from foot surgery before traveling to Fredericksburg.

Cancelled trip to Fredericksburg.
Leaving July 7th.  First stop I35 RV park (Waco),  then Winstar for 2 nights,  Rockwell RV park(Oklahoma City) for 3 nights.

Cruise on Liberty of the Seas Jan. 12-19, 2020

Royal Caribbean from Galveston to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, & Jamaica.  7 day cruise was OK, but not great.  Buffet dining was closed every afternoon until 6:00 pm.  Inside cabin was bigger then expected.   Service was good.  Tom, Bev, and Jan all three caught a 24 hr stomachaches  witch put them down.  Waters were fairly smooth.  Tom drove his car which we left in parking lot ($60).  Human traffic was high in Cozumel and Grand Cayman.








Tour to chichenitsa in Cozumel.  2.5 bus ride each way, with 45 min ferry ride.

Driving to Alvin, TX Saturday(11th), Cruise Ship Sunday(Jan. 12th)

Tom & Bev are picking us up around 9:00 am.  Driving to Alvin, TX.  One night in Rodeway Inn, then on  to Galveston on Royal Caribbean  Liberty of the Sea for 7 day cruise.  Cabin # 7135.  Exit Sunday Jan. 19th.
In Holiday Inn Express room #126 for one night.
