From Kerrville to Harlingen Nov 24th, 2020

 Drove home from Buckhorn Lake RV resort.  320 miles.  Jacks worked, but air pressure gauges kept bouncing to zero, then back to normal.  Both gauges dropped at same time.  Stopped at Three Rivers Loves for diesel.  Strong SE wind plus drizzle thru San Antonio.  Arrived home around 3:00 pm.

I took the dash cover off and tie wrapped the bundle of wires below the gauges.  Re-connected wires Into gauge.   This seems to fix intermittent problem.

To Kerrville at Buckhorn Lake RV resort Nov. 17-24

 Drove to Kerrville,  TX today Nov 17 (325 miles) for a week stay at Buckhorn RV

back in site in corner of adult only section (site 6117) $238. for the week, $34.10/day.

Wifi is too weak to use.  Good cable, patio furniture.  Level concrete site.  Traveled with

Tom/Bev Blair plus 4 dogs.  First trip with our two pups.  Levi demanded Jan's lap most the way.  Kenzi stayed quietly in play pen.

Thursday: turkey dinners from Cracker Barrel, Kerrville.   Called in order at 1:00 pm

For 4:00 pickup.  Arrived at 3:45, order finally ready at 4:30.  Excuse: change of shift.

Friday day trip to Fredericksburg downtown pet store, Amish store for apple butter.

Made reservation for Nov 15, 2021 for 2 weeks.

Trip to Montgomery, TX to pick up Kenzi Oct. 30-31

 Tom & Bev are picking us up in their SUV for Conroe.  One night in motel (priceline).  Pick girls up saturday morning, then drive home.  Larry & Deb Irwin are driving up also.

Trip to Mongomery, TX Friday, Sept. 24 to pickup Levi

 Drive to Montgomery, Tx., stay one night(Friday) in Super 8, then go pick Levi up Sat morning, Sept. 25 At Teena's house (Texas Star Yorkies).  Drive back home Saturday.

Left Harlingen at 8:30 am.  Arrived in Montgomery, Tx about 3:30 pm Friday.

Levi was born July 22, 2020.

Picked up Levi at 10:00 am.  Left Montgomery at 10:30, arrived back home @ 4:30 pm.

In Harlingen, at Home, Aug. 29th for the 2020 winter

 Drove from Medina Lake just NW of San Antonio to Harlingen today(290 miles) after having electrical pole drop L1 down to 110V & 11 amps yesterday afternoon.  Tripped rear A/C breaker.  No problems on the road, other than interior temp reaching 99°.  

Arrived around 4:20 pm.

Thursday, Sept. 3nd:  Replaced Jeep windshield today.  The Cheap Autoglass Co took 45 minutes.  Cost $156.

Martin returned Mobile Home repair quote from July 25th Hurricane Hanna ($1850).

I got on roof and fixed back 16' of flashing that is missing with flex tape and caulk.

Thinking about removing the remaining 50' & caulking the gap, then placing back.

Sept 8th: put $300 deposit on 7 week old party Yorkie, we named Levi.

Sept 14th: we put our $300 deposit on a parti Yorkie, we named Kenzi.  Kenzi is two weeks old and just opened her eyes.  

In Medina Lake TT Aug 24-29site F119 near Bandera, TX.

 Drove from Buckhorn Rv resort (Kerrville, TX) 58 miles to Medina Lake TT near Bandera.

Two 50 amp site open when arrived.  We took site 119, which was only full hookup.  Waited for fifthwheel to pull out.  Gravel site, but almost level.  Shade to NE. 4 TV channels, including two shopping, one food, & one boxing. ION is only watchable chnl.

We have reservations until aug. 31st. Leaving Sat, Aug 29.

Friday, Aug 28 @ 1600. Temp outside 105°, two Rv's moved in on our corner.  We started having power issues L1 low volts & amps.  Running one A/C.  Leaving Sat morning for Home.

Lots of Deer...

Cabins for rent.  We stayed in one in 2011 (on Harley Trike).

We had approx 30 show up for supper.  This buck is claiming his territory!

Feed me!  Dog food and deer corn makes them your friend, until it's gone.  Jan literally

    Just heard our yorkie mother is in labor,  yea puppies on the way!!

Deer like carrots, too.

Thursday, Aug 27th:

   While eating an Apple Pie /Ice Cream at OST (old spanish trail) restaurant in Bandera,

 We received pictures of our new born Yorkie fur babies (litter of seven, 6 girls & 1 boy).  We are going to pick a brown boy & white/brown spots girl.  YEA!!!!  I'M A DAD!!

They will stay with mom for 10-12 weeks, then drive to Montgomery, Tx and pick

Levi & Kenzie up, sometime before Thanksgiving. Counting from top, pups three & four.

In Kerrville, TX at Buckhorn Lake Resort Aug 17-23 one week

 Drove east on I10 45 miles from Junction to Buckhorn Lake Resort (Kerrville). In space 6071.  Nice park, concrete spaces(level), asphalt streets, good Wifi and cable. $260/week + electric. ($37.14/day). Electric charge for the week:  191 kw, $26.26 ($ .1374 per kw)

Cable is poor for last three days.  Bottom half of channels missing signal.  Should get 36 channels,  getting 22 on both TV's. Channel 3 was weather.

Tom & Bev are parked next to us.

Park flag poles have two Trump flags on both sides with US & Texas flags in middle.

Lots of Trump signs thru out park.  We are in Trump country!

Two hurricanes in Gulf at same time.  We have reservation in Medina Lake TT Aug 24-Sept 4th.  We will sit thru next weeks possible heavy rain at Medina Lake.
