In Idaho Falls, ID Monday, July 31st til Aug 8

Drove from Panguitch, UT to Idaho Falls, ID (390 miles).  Took 89 north to 20 west, to
I15 north.  Stopped in Beaver, UT at Denny''s ( across from Flying J ) for breakfast.  A young man drove up to us and said my drivers side inside back tire was flat.  He worked across the street at the Sporty''s TO Go Tire shop.  After eating, I took the MH
To them.  They removed the dual tires.  All the air leaked out at the extension.  Removed the extension to fix.  Shocks were SHOT, had them install 4 Monroe RV shocks.  Total bill $1362.75.  MH rides much better.

Started calling RV Parks 3 hours out.  All full.  Ended up in Shady Rest RV park, for one night ($38).  No cable, wifi, trashy park.  Moving to Snake River RV Park tuesday.

Tuesday, Aug 1st:
   Checked into Snake River RV park $318.66/ week).  Gravel space # B20.  Slow wifi, no cable, but shade trees.  Good Sam park.  Reserved 8th day if wanted.  Long sewer connection.


Wednesday, Aug 2:
    Drove to Rexburg up highway 20 to see carousel and flight museum.



Stopped by flight museum ($5/each).





Thursday, Aug 3nd:
    Day trip to Grand Teton National Park.  About 250 miles round trip.  Stopped in Jackson for burger and shopping.




Made next week's reservation in Fairmont RV park in Butte, MT ($301/week up front)

Saturday, Aug 5.
     Drove into west Yellowstone National Park.  Stopped at Old Faithful Geyser.
Park was just over 100 miles from Idaho Falls.  Air still smoky from fires north.  Went shopping in West Yellowstone.  Temp high 70's.

Zion National Park Friday, July 28

Drove from Panguitch to Zion NP (77 miles).  Thru the park,  from the southeast entrance, out the opposite end into Springdale.

Next stop    Cedar Breaks National Monument:





 Ran across a herd of sheep crossing highway 143 in a high mountain range.



Notice 3 black babies in this flock of 100 sheep.

Bryce Canyon National Park July 26-27

Wednesday, July 26:
  Drove to Bryce front Panguitch, UT (25 miles):

This hummingbird landed on this guy's hat in a shop.  He took him outside, to fly away.

We made a reservation for thursday, July 27 @ 1:30 pm on special shuttle to tour
The back half of the park.  Spike (driver) was a great tour guide.
