In Amarillo, TX, at Oasis RV Park til Monday, July 3nd

Drove from Oklahoma City to Amarillo (257 MI ) today June 26.  Checked into Oasis RV park for next week ($185 ).  Leave Monday, July 3rd for Joe''s place in Fritch.
Concrete slab spaces, cable, and wifi, picnic table.  No trees.
The #1 air brake gauge dropped to zero, then bounced back to normal pressure 4 times today.  No loss of air.  Brakes stayed good.  I think the gauge is faulty.

Filled up in OK city at flying J, then ate breakfast in Huddle house restaurant.
Light south wind 10-15, temp in low 90's.  No problems on road.


Wednesday, June 28
  Bought new Ruger 10/22 takedown from Walmart.  Then bought 25 round clip + 500 rounds at Gander Mtn.

In Oklahoma City, at Rockwell RV Park

Left Bridgeport Bay Landing TT around 10:30 am Monday, June 19.  Drove just under
200 miles to Rockwell RV Park on I-40 in Oklahoma city.  We are staying one week
Until Monday June 26th ($250). No issues.  Park has cable and wifi.  We have partial shade on both sides. Space # 70, next year ask for #73.

We are planning on driving to Amarillo, TX next Monday, June 26th.

In Bridgeport, TX at Bay Landing TT

Arrived in Bridgeport around noon.  Last 20 miles in the rain.  It has been raining off / on all day.  In space # 110 across from club house.  50 amp will cost $3.00 per day.
We worked over an hour (in the rain) trying to get the Jacks level.  They kept erroring
Out with "excessive slope".  Finally used manual adjustment to get level.  Both back
Tires are off the ground.

No glider annual Saturday.  Expecting rain.  Try for sunday.
TV stations are nill.  CBS & CW were fading in / out.

We have reservations until June 19th (Monday).

Sat, June 3:
   Drove into Bridgeport.  Ate breakfast muffin at McDonalds.  On thru Decatur (stopped by hanger.  Looks ok) On to Camping World,  Zig Zag Lines store, then Walmart, and Chuys Mexican food in Denton.


Wednesday, June 7th:
No rain since Monday.  Temp in low 90's.  Had app with Audiologist Dr. Julie Mistic at
Wise Hearing Solutions in Decatur Tuesday.  Took 1:20 to get my hearing aids software updated and adjustments made.  Aids were programmed to the wrong ears.
Much better, I can hear my wife again.  Now I just need a translator.

Lake is very full.  I am going fishing this evening.  Jan fed the local park ducks that were working their way to each trailer.

We saw a doe with two babies today (thursday):

Second trip to camping world in denton.  Bought Garmin GPS model RV770 for MH.

Saturday, June 10th -
Mike Humphrey did annual on Russia glider at Decatur airport this morning ($175)
Tom installed electric vario back in glider panel ( it works!!).  Tire is holding air.
Winds were too gusty to fly.  Left glider in trailer at airport.  Tom & I are going to
Paint the trailer.  Meet again Sunday.  Shane also got his glider annualled.

Sunday, June 11th:
Wind too gusty to fly.  Tom & I sanded the glider trailer.  More elbow work Monday.
Visited with Dean at airport.  Ate lunch at DQ..

Wednesday, June 14th:
Drove to Tom''s Monday - Tuesday and worked on preparing glider trailer for painting.  Bought rustoleum white / red at Home Depot ($125).
Masked red bottom so paint white top first.  Need wind to be very light (5 ).



Drove to Jacksboro today.  Ate at Herds.  Great hamburger.  Then to Fort Richardson state park ($6).









Saturday, June 17:
No flying today or Sunday.  Wind is too gusty today.  Hanger door is still jammed, so
Tow plane is stuck inside.

Tom and I finished painting the glider trailer last night.  One pic with masking, two pictures of finished result.

In Hillsboro, TX at Walmart parking lot

Travel day from Harlingen to Hillsboro, TX (460 MI ).  Spending the night in Walmart parking lot just off I-35.  Had to replace passenger side car dolly tail light (original was burned out).  Running generator tonight.  Ate supper in Walmart at Subway.

Came out of Harlingen north bound on 77,  I-37 to 181,  181 to 123,  123 to 130 (toll north around San Antonio & Austin,  130 to I-35 north to Hillsboro.  Friday''s trip to
Bridgeport Thousand Trails (Bay Landing ), approximately 112 miles.

Motorhome ran good, no troubles.  Stopped at Pilot truck stop at half a tank
On I-30 toll east of Austin.  Put 39 gallons in @ $2.37.

Ran thru two small rain showers today.  Mainly partly cloudy, with sun.
