In Nachos trace TT, Hohenwald, TN, SW of Nashville June 11-18
We travelled east to Hohenwald, TN SW of Nashville yesterday. We ran up on a low bridge (11 feet) just before the entrance and had to go around 20 miles. Then ran right tire up over the dolly in a hard right turn entering the park. Had to jack up, then block the tire 4 times to get it off. Right dolly fender scratched the passenger door. No other damage. Took an hour to find a 50 amp space. Just a hand full in park. Most where occupied. We should not have come in on a weekend. Lots of spaces freed up sunday.
Planning on staying a week(16th) We may extend a few days, so we can travel on Monday or tuesday.
Internet only available at clubhouse. No TV at motorhome. Going to clubhouse to watch TV. Three day TN fishing license ($20) . Several strikes, but none caught.
Went to Loretta Lynn's ranch tuesday. Original mansion was 180 years old (14 rooms). Nice museum.
Went to Jack Daniels, ran into Richard/Louis just before the tour. Eat lunch in Lynchburg town square and shopped.
Bought a 3 day fishing license ($20) and fished MTW evenings. Several strikes, but no catches.
Visited Hohenwald museum. Full of African animal trophies.
Decided to extend our stay until Monday July 18th. Move on east to Chattanooga for a few days, before turning north to NC.
Got one satellite (out of three) on dish. Line of trees south/west is blocking signal.
Internet and cell phone service is very weak.
