 Drove Thursday from Albuquerque to Amarillo(300 miles).  Staying 2 week in Fort Amarillo, space #164, $341.00/week, $375/2nd week

In American RV park, Albuquerque, NM, Sept. 3, 2025 for 1 night

 Drove from Flagstaff to Albuquerque today(313 miles).  Drove thru two rain showers on I-40. Checked into American RV park, space #104 pull thru ($61.16/night).

Rained 10 minutes after arrival in park.

In J&H RV park, space #16, Sept. 2nd, 2025, 1 night, Flagstaff, AZ

 Arrived @ 4:00 pm at J&H RV park for the night from Junction, UT. Checked in.

Space #16, $77/night with Good Sam discount.

Drove 300 miles today 6 hours at ave speed 60 mph.  No issues.

In Junction, UT. May 7th til Sept. 8, 2025

 Staying in Randy's apartment #B, camp host for RV park.  This will be our last year for camp host.  Randy is going to allow long term customers only in 2026.  Rent the apartment and get a grounds keeper to mow grass.

We are planning to travel next year in a new travel trailer.

Worked on new renogy solar in truck Saturday.  Ready to wire up panels.

Neal Bake coming in #4.  No more in bound reservations for May.

July 9, 2025. Drove to Stephen Wade Ram dealership in Saint George and drove back with a 2022 Ram 2500 Big Horn truck with a Cummins diesel engine.  77k miles good condition

This truck will tow any travel trailer I choose.  Added a used white camper shell.

Died on the way,  hospital could not save him.  Monday is Labor Day.  We are planning to leave Tuesday morning. Take 2.5 days to get to Amarillo.

1st stop Flagstaff, 2nd night Albuquerque,  Amarillo by noon 3nd day.

 No RV this season.  We plan on stopping several times to inspect a couple of travel trailers on the trip north.  One Rockwood Mini Lite 2513S and Alliance Delta ML206 at Georgetown's Ron Hoover(Buck).  Try to leave@ 6:00am. Truck is loaded.

1.  Waco Motel 6 rate = $71.29, confirmed for Wednesday night(4/30), very old, not clean, baseboard rotten.  3" rain,  super Texas Roadhouse pickup $34.21.  good steak, rolls, sweet potato.

Stopped at Buc'ees $16.58 gas.(Gasbuddy did not work)

2.  Thursday night in Ada, OK Motel 6 ($80.06).  Motel is one year old, very new & Nice.  King bed.

3.  Friday night in Amarillo Motel 6 on Paramount, 3 nights, $186.17 using Hotels.com.  room 108 is clean, King bed, bathroom fan works with light and is very loud!!  TV picture quality is terrible on all channels + hum in audible.

In Tropic Winds RV Resort for 2024 Winter until April 30, 2025

 In Mobile Home @ #145 Tropic Winds RV resort for the winter 2024-2025.

Rent went up to $504 Nov. 2024.  Added fence in drive way from free pickup from park model #519.  

Sold Jeep to Doug in Junction last July($18K).  Bought 2021 Ford Ranger XLT in Salt Lake City for $27K cash.  41k miles on it.  Drive it home (1640 miles).  Got 27-29 mpg.

Looking at replacing RV with Grand Design Image XLT model 17MKE used next year after our summer camp host job in Junction RV Park. Changed to Alliance Delta ML206 because it is lighter and quality better.

Ron Hoover quote on new one.  Offered 10K off before we left visit.

Leaving April 30.  First stop Waco, Ada, OK one night, then Amarillo for 3 nights, Grants, NM for one night, Flagstaff one night then Junction on 7th.  All over nights in Motel 6 using booking.com and hotels.com(Amarillo).  No trailer, just truck.

Leaving Junction Wed, Sept. 25 toward Harlingen, arrive Sunday Sept 29(home for winter) 2024

 Left Junction 9:00 am, driving to Flagstaff, AZ. In new to us 2021 ford ranger loaded.

Getting 29.5 mpg, over 550 mile range per tank(18 gal).

Booked all Motel 6 hotels on booking.com.

1.  Arrived at Motel 6 on Butler, Flagstaff around 3:00 pm. Wed, Sept 25.

Room ok, beds broken down. No coffee in lobby. $71.28

2.  Arrived in Moriarty, NM at Motel 6 at 4:00 pm. Thursday Sept 26. Great cafe next door.  Jan had chicken fried, I had liver/onions.  Good meal.  No remote in room. Spare remote volume did not work.  King bed ok.  A/c too loud!  One cup coffee in lobby.  Broken back window. Ice machine broken. $73.24

3. Arrived in Fort Stockton, TX Motel 6 at 4:00 pm Friday, Sept 27.  Best motel 6 room so far. $50.71

4.  kerrville Motel 6 on Sat. Sept. 28, $115.25.   newest Motel 6 this trip. King bed.  Changed room from upstairs to ground level.  Booking.com reservation keeps putting me on second floor.

Ordered from Cracker Barrel for supper.  I ate grilled catfish, okra, fries.  Jan had pint of pinto beans and corn bread.  Special root beer & moon pies for desert. $27

5. Home in Harlingen on Sunday.  Total miles 1,640, $199.63 on gasbuddy.  Had 3/4 tank remaining upon arrival.  Motel 6 thru booking.com $314.34 (4 nights). 

Got 27.5-29.7 mpg.
